CATALOGUE LAUNCH UPDATE & THANK YOU

I just wanted to say a big thank you to the people that came to my 2012/13 Stampin' Up Catalogue Launch last Saturday.

There were 15 wonderful people - Angela, Ann, Belinda, Colin, Dellis, Jacqui, Laura, Lesley, Mandy, Maree, Margaret, Nicole, Patricia, Sharon & Sue.  Their enthusiasm & friendliness made the afternoon lots of fun.

That's just one of the things I love about Stampin' Up - THE GREAT PEOPLE YOU MEET!!

Thanks also to my fantastic friend, and fellow Demonstrator, Natalia for all of the work she did & the great make & take she taught. She is very talented & creative & without her the afternoon wouldn't have been possible.

And of course thanks to my lovely Mum, Aileen & good friend Shelley. They served all of the food & kept the drinks flowing - important ingredients to a good party!!! (Ane cleaned up as well)

The participants got to complete the following 3 cards:

Everyone got to enter the Lucky Door Prize draw & Patricia was our lucky winner.  She was very happy with her prize:

We had a few displays around:

After a busy but fun afternoon, everyone left with their 3 completed cards & personalised Gift Bag stamped with Bety's Blossoms in Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango & new In Colour Primrose Petals. (Their gift bags contained the New Annual Catalogue & Holiday Catalogue, of course, recipes for the 3 cards they made & a schedule of my card classes).

I have received lots of positive feedback from many of the people who came. Everyone loved the new products and many have signed up for my upcoming card classes in the next couple of months (I will be putting my Card Class & Scrapbooking Class schedules on my blog in the next couple of days). So, after weeks of late nights, all of the hard work was worth it & I can't wait to do it all again :)

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
This Sunday, my friend (and Stampin' Up Manager) Vanessa Cook and I are holding a stall at the Jubilee Fair at Castle Cove Public School.  We are selling our hand-made cards and promoting Stampin'Up!  We would love it if you dropped by.  The fair runs from 10am-4pm, this Sunday, 16th September.

Thanks for reading such a long post. I'm off to bed!!

PS If you receive this blog post in your email it means I have subscribed you to my blog (or you have subscribed yourself). Felt it was the best way for me to let people know about latest Stampin' Up news. If you dont wish to receive updates, please email me - promise I wont be offended. xx

NEW CARD CLASS - Sunday, 1 July at 2pm

Hi everyone. These are the projects I am going to teach in my next Card Class. The large box at the front is made from Whisper White & Pool Party (like Tiffany blue) cardstock. The cute little box at the back is made out of Regal Rose cardstock & patterned paper. It is actually a nicer pink in real life, NOT the salmon/melon colour in the photo.

As well as these two boxes we will be making 6 little gift cards to go inside the small box. I haven't posted a picture of the cards as they're not finished yet but I will post them in the next couple of weeks. Both of these boxes would make a lovely present to give someone special (or to keep for yourself!)

Date:    Sunday, 1 July
Time:   2pm
Place:   my home in Sutherland Shire (address when RSVPing)
RSVP:   0403 700 099 or kyleandanne@optusnet.com.au or comment on my blog!!

The cost of the class is $20 which includes all materials to make projects pictured (cardstock, ribbon, inks, markers, use of punches, big shot & adhesives, simply scored etc) lucky door prize and of course tea/coffee and a yummy afternoon tea!!  No experience necessary, come along for an afternoon of creativity & laughs :)

OTHER EXCITING NEWS............
Tomorrow I am heading to Canberra for the Stampin' Up Annual Convention so unfortunately I won't post anything here for a few days. BUT when I return next week I may be able to share some great things I saw, learnt, made whilst there so stay tuned!!

MOTHERS DAY GIFTS

Had so much fun making the gift card box yesterday I thought I would make another couple for my lovely Mum & Mother-in-law to put with their Mothers Day gifts.

I used the Everyday Enchantment DSP from Sale-a-bration.  I cut all of my materials for the whole two sets first & then put both sets together in about 30 mins (45 mins including cutting). Its so easy to put a project together using coordinating papers, ink & cardstock. I absolutely love it!!

I am thinking of running this as a class. Let me know if anyone is interested & I will arrange. xx

Gift card box - using patterned paper

Hello everyone. Thought I would share this little project I created today. It is a small box I made using the new Simply Scored product by Stampin' Up.  The box contains four little 3x3 inch gift cards (it would fit 6 cards inside though).  I created this whole set, box included, in about 20 mins. Very easy & lots of fun. Am going to demo this project at my friends Workshop in a couple of weeks. I am also going to make a set each for my Mum & MIL for mother's day. Great way to use patterned paper too!!

The Simply Scored Tool is a new product from SU. Stay tuned as I will be sharing a few more projects in the coming week made using this wonderful tool. :)
