Just a few things to note about ordering from this Catalogue: Cardstock and Pad Kit (item 132281, page 139): The price for the Cardstock & Pad Kit is listed incorrectly as $47.95. The correct price is $93.95. World Map Stamp (item 130342 for wood, 130345 for clear, page 23): The stamp includes two offensive words, 'Negroland' and 'Cafreria', which have since been removed. The artwork we used for the image was taken from a historical map in the Library of Congress and the words were not noticed until recently. We hope it is understood that our intent has never been to belittle or offend our demonstrators and customers. We sincerely apologize for any insult or affront resulting from this oversight. We have updated the World Map Stamp, and anticipate that the stamp will be ready to order sometime in August. Label Pop 'n Cuts (item 130160, page 188): We have recently learned that the Label Pop 'n Cuts Die was incorrectly produced--the die cuts instead of scores across the score line. Our supplier repaired the defect and we are replacing our inventory. The new and improved die will be ready to order 12 July Wood-Mount Cases (item 127551 for full, 127552 for half, page 197): The new full and half wood-mount cases (sold in packs of four) have been delayed. You will still get your new wood-mount stamps sets in these cases, but we will be unable to fulfil orders for the additional wood-mount cases when the catalogue goes live. Stay tuned for when they will be available to order Stampin' Trimmer Rotary Addition (item 132986, page 176): We will announce when this item is available for order.

I have scheduled dates & times that I foresee will work but obviously planning 6 months in advance, dates & times may be subject to change due to life, child, husband & general craziness :)

• Classes are held in my home in the Sutherland Shire and take 2-3 hrs (address when RSVPing).

• Cost of most classes is usually $20 which includes all materials to make 6 cards with envelopes (2 each of 3 designs) or 2 scrapbook pages, except Wednesday classes which are $30 to make 10 cards!!

• Pre-payment by direct deposit is required to secure your booking (Account name - Anne Farrar, BSB - 032059, account no - 248234).

• There needs to be a minimum of 4 participants for a class to go ahead. I will contact you 3 days before the class if I don't have the minimum :)

Thanks to all of the creative ladies who came to my Sale-a-bration & Seasonal Catalogue Launch last Saturday - Bridget, Celina, Heidi, Jill, Lydia, Mandy, Margaret G, Margaret N, Nicole, Pam, Patricia, Rachel, Sandy, Tracy, and Tricia. Their interest & enthusiasm made the afternoon lots of fun.

That's why I love Stampin' Up - because of THE GREAT PEOPLE YOU MEET!!

Thanks also to my dear friend, and fellow Demonstrator, Natalia for all of the work she did & the great make & take she made. Without her the afternoon wouldn't have been possible.

My daughter Lily (9 yrs) had a great time making all of the cards too. By the end of the day she decided she was addicted to card making, especially using the Big Shot!!! Here are the cards she designed all by herself that night....

 

I'm very proud of my girl. She seems to have a great eye for colour & design. Well done Lily. Maybe one day you can be a Stampin' Up Demonstrator too!!



CATALOGUE LAUNCH UPDATE & THANK YOU

I just wanted to say a big thank you to the people that came to my 2012/13 Stampin' Up Catalogue Launch last Saturday.

There were 15 wonderful people - Angela, Ann, Belinda, Colin, Dellis, Jacqui, Laura, Lesley, Mandy, Maree, Margaret, Nicole, Patricia, Sharon & Sue.  Their enthusiasm & friendliness made the afternoon lots of fun.

That's just one of the things I love about Stampin' Up - THE GREAT PEOPLE YOU MEET!!

Thanks also to my fantastic friend, and fellow Demonstrator, Natalia for all of the work she did & the great make & take she taught. She is very talented & creative & without her the afternoon wouldn't have been possible.

And of course thanks to my lovely Mum, Aileen & good friend Shelley. They served all of the food & kept the drinks flowing - important ingredients to a good party!!! (Ane cleaned up as well)

After a busy but fun afternoon, everyone left with their 3 completed cards & personalised Gift Bag stamped with Bety's Blossoms in Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango & new In Colour Primrose Petals. (Their gift bags contained the New Annual Catalogue & Holiday Catalogue, of course, recipes for the 3 cards they made & a schedule of my card classes).

 I have received lots of positive feedback from many of the people who came. Everyone loved the new products and many have signed up for my upcoming card classes in the next couple of months (I will be putting my Card Class & Scrapbooking Class schedules on my blog in the next couple of days). So, after weeks of late nights, all of the hard work was worth it & I can't wait to do it all again :)

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
This Sunday, my friend (and Stampin' Up Manager) Vanessa Cook and I are holding a stall at the Jubilee Fair at Castle Cove Public School.  We are selling our hand-made cards and promoting Stampin'Up!  We would love it if you dropped by.  The fair runs from 10am-4pm, this Sunday, 16th September.

I love the Twitterpated DSP because it's designs are so versatile. They suit male or female, young or old :) I am currently making cards to sell at a Spring Fair I am attending. When making numerous cards at once I try to use a simple design that still looks effective.

The round stamps I used are from a retired set called Riveting (I LOVE round stamps!!) and the punches I used were the 2 3/8" Circle punch, the Scallop border punch & the Postage Stamp punch (another fav).
